Hello, I’m Dr Mark Tallon,

I am an expert witness specialising in the intersection between food law and nutritional science. I hold a doctorate in nutritional biochemistry, with higher degrees in food, European and intellectual property law. These are awarded from some of the leading universities in the world including Kings Collage London to University of Oxford.

I have been working in the health food industry for over 20 years and work with some of the world’s leading brands as a food law consultant. My work involves providing solicitors and attorneys with expert opinions on all aspects of food law from product classification, legality of ingredients, food safety, efficacy, health claims, VAT classification and novel foods.
